We're looking for like-minded upholsterers who share our passion for creative upholstery. As the company expands, we are creating opportunities for qualified upholsterers to bring their specialism and uniqueness, part-time, to work as part of our vibrant team alongside their own practice.
We realise that upholstery is an endless learning experience - even after 40 years in the industry there is always something new to be learnt. As a supportive team of enthusiasts, we love to explore new ways and inject personality into our work.

STUDIO ASSISTANT

We are looking for someone to job-share part time for 2 - 3 days per week at our Training Centre on Wells Road, Totterdown starting September 2022.
You will join a small but fun, vibrant and upholstery-passionate team and will be part of an exciting growth period for BRISTOL UPHOLSTERY COLLECTIVE. You will be responsible for many key duties and will need to be able to multi-task and prioritise a diverse workload.
This role would suit someone with knowledge of the AMUSF Upholstery Diploma Syllabus or equivalent as well as computer and excellent communication skills. This is a supportive role both within the classroom and reception team ensuring the smooth running of the school and its administrative requirements.

UPHOLSTERY TUTOR

The passion and imagination of our Creative Director, Leigh-Anne, has seen her set up informal leisure classes, to achieve Social Enterprise funding through to the award-winning AMUSF Training Centre with two highly qualified Diploma tutors – and we are continuing to grow.
We are looking to expand our team of AMUSF Tutors and currently recruiting for our new academic year starting in September 2022. You will either be fully qualified to an AMUSF (or equivalent course) level, be in your final year of the Diploma or have experience within the industry.
You will join a small but fun, vibrant and upholstery-passionate team and will be part of an exciting growth period for BRISTOL UPHOLSTERY COLLECTIVE. You will be responsible for many key duties and will need to be able to multi-task and prioritise a diverse workload.
We are running the Diploma currently over 4 days during the week, however, the role will require a level of flexibility to cover ad-hoc open days/evenings or our new annual event, which was a great success in January. A competitive salary is offered, which is dependent on experience and an induction period is planned to start before the new term starts.
